*This picture is a representation
of a Vacu-Boom - Boom Only.
The closed loop boom forms
an 18 foot diameter circle and includes the hoses and fittings. For the first
time ever, it is possible to achieve 100% capture and recovery of waste water
run off from washing operations, both indoors and outdoors, with minimum effort.
With VACU-BOOM and the proper accessories, waste water can be completely captured
and pumped directly to a suitable nearby point of discharge or to a Mobile
storage tank for transport and later discharge. The waste water from VACU-BOOM
can also be pumped directly and automatically to a portable reclaim unit.
The VACU-BOOM System is designed for long life and ease of use. Set up time
is minimal and portability is simple.
Applications for this system continue to be discovered. It can be used anywhere
that recovery of water is essential. Recovery rate with recommended wet vaccuum
recovery units is up to 10 GPM or more.
APPLICATIONS:
Mobile
washing operations
Outdoor
vehicle or equipment washing
Indoor
washing or spill containment
Asbestos
water jet removal operations
Recovery
of spillage of hazardous materials
Temporary
or permanent control of industrial storm run off
Boat
washing, aircraft washing, and other misc. washing applications
Flood
water clean up - commerical and residential
Janitorial
services - quickly and easily capture water from floors after washing operations
Sidewalk
and parking lot cleaning
NOTE: VACU-BOOM is primarily designed to handle
water with diluted amounts of contaminants such as grease, oil, deterigents, heavy
metals, etc. Most aggressive chemicals such as strong acids or solvents can
be handled by this system if diluted with water.
The environmental laws* concerns and demands of the 90's and beyond demand
effective and dependable means to capture water contamiants for proper disposal.
*EPA's 40 CFR storm regulations (NPDES) specifically prohibit the practice
of allowing soapy, oily, wash water from vehicle or equipment cleaning to
run unchecked into storm drains or the environment, either directly or indirectly.
